As part of our ministry aimed at men, we hold a Men's Breakfast a few times per year. We know that weekends are a valuable time for men, particularly those who are still at work, so we meet from 8.00am, finishing by 9.15 prompt.
Breakfast is an informal, but not an unsubstantial, affair, with fruit juice and a cooked breakfast followed by toast, tea and coffee.
Breakfasts are generally held at Wetherspoons, Southgate (80-84 Chase Side, Southgate, N14 5PH). Recent breakfasts have included a student at Oak Hill theological college talking about his own journey to faith; more information will be added here when it becomes available!
We regularly hold Men's Dinners in a friendly and informal atmosphere; guests and new members are always very welcome. Evenings usually start at 7.30pm, with dinner followed by a talk from a guest speaker. Talks cover a wide range of subjects and interests; recently 'What is true freedom?'
Men's Workout Breakfasts
We have held these monthly, with a chance to be challenged theologically as well as to build each other up spiritually.
