There is a wide range of activities on Sunday and during the week for our children and young people.

Sunday Club

Every week at the 10.30am service there is a creche for babies and toddlers up to 2 1/2 years old. Unless there is an All Age Service, older children start off in the church with their parents, to sing and hear a talk together for about 15 minutes, and then go out to groups depending on their age-group.

The different groups are:

  • Pre-school creche
  • Stepping Stones (ages 2.5 to 5 years)
  • Scramblers (for children in Y1 & Y2)
  • Climbers (for children in Y3 & Y4)
  • Explorers (for children in Y5 - Y6)

New children are welcome at any time, even if just visiting.  If you have any queries please contact Peachey David for details (phone 020 8350 5549).

Pathfinders is a group for those in years 7-9; they go out with the younger children after 15 minutes of the 10.30am service, and meet in the church flat. Recently the Pathfinders have been learning about God's grace, the story of Joseph, and Jesus' letters to the churches, as well as playing silly games and having a lot of fun! For more details contact Mark Jackson (07765 107444).

Ygnite meets on Sunday evenings from 4:30-6pm before the evening service and is a group for young people in years 7-9. We always have a lot of fun with the games - recently we've had Highland games, a quiz night, sports in the park and even a bonfire! We also have a talk from the Bible and then split into groups to discuss what we've heard - recently learning from the Gospel of John and from what Proverbs says about living wisely.

It stands for 'The Next Generation'! Our new group for older teenagers meets after the evening service, from 7:30-8:45pm, in the homely surroundings of 22 Curthwaite Gardens (a 5-minute walk from the church). We hang out together, have lots of food, play a game or two, and have a look at the Bible so we can help each other love Jesus more.
