Robert & Tricia MacCurrach are placed by Crosslinks in Novi Sad hoping to encourage and facilitate church growth and training. Serbia is, with Montenegro, what is left of the former Yugoslavia, and the church is predominately Orthodox, though there are a few evangelical churches too.
Robert & Tricia have settled in a Baptist church which is on the same site as the Theological College in which they have been involved during the past year - Robert lecturing in Management, and both involved in helping to set up fundraising systems. For the next three years their priorities include intensive language study - Serbo-Croat is a notoriously difficult language - and then friendship evangelism, working from their own home. |
