Advent:

Christingle

Wednesday December 10th 1.30-3.30 - Parents & Toddlers’ usual fun will include Santa’s visit.

Wednesday December 17th 1.30-3.30

Parents & Toddlers includes Christmas celebration in church from 2.15-2.30 for pre-schoolers and party.

Please bring some finger food for the children to share.

Sunday December 14th 4.00pm - Christingle service

A lovely family occasion in the church, with a simple explanation of the Christmas message. There is a collection of gifts for disadvantaged children which will be distributed by Enfield Social Services: if you would like to bring one, please wrap it and indicate on a label the age and gender of child for whom it would be appropriate.

Christmas Week

Sunday 21st Dec 10.30am - Morning service with Nativity Pageant

Our regular Sunday morning service will include a Nativity Pageant prepared by the Sunday school groups. Following their presentation they will return to the halls for their own classes and fun, while the service continues in the church as usual.

Advent Sunday December 21st 6.30pm - Service of lessons and Carols by Candlelight

Come and sing and listen to some old favourites, and hear the Christmas message, in the atmospheric light of hundreds of candles.

Wednesday 24th Dec 4pm - Carols round the crib

This is another lovely opportunity to remind the children of the Christmas story and to involve them in re-telling it.

Wednesday 24th Dec 11pm -Midnight communion

Candlelit service with the choir - "Midnight with Mozart".

Thursday 25th Dec 9.00am - Communion service

A traditional but quiet Christmas celebration with hymns

Thursday 25th Dec 10.30am - Family Christmas celebration followed by Holy Communion

Bring a favourite gift to show everyone!

Wednesday 31st Dec 8.30pm - New Year Barn Dance and Watchnight service 11.30pm

Family fun to finish the year, with a chance to start 2009 with God at the centre.
