After-school clubs

As well as our ‘Sunday Club’ groups during our 10.30am service, we also run two other weekly groups for those at primary school.

@Toms and @Tomix

@Toms & @Tomix is an activity club for children in school years Reception to year 6. It runs every Wednesday during term time, and there are craft activities, group games, quizzes, singing and Bible stories. The aim is that children should be able to have fun together and learn some stories from the Bible.

Approximately 50 children come along each week from local primary schools, so if you come along, you’re likely to see a face you know!

  • Who runs it? It is organised by Val Weddell, assisted by other members of St Thomas church.
  • When is it? Every Wednesday during term time, 5.30-7.00pm.
  • Where is it? @Toms (for years 3-6) meets in the Large Hall. @Tomix (for years 0-2) meets just across the car park in the Guide Hut. Both groups combine in the Large Hall for a Bible story and singing at the end of the session.
  • What does it cost? £1.50 per week.
  • How do I join? Just turn up on the day, with a parent, and complete a registration form with standard details and contact numbers.

For more details, phone Val on 020 8090 5090.
