What is it?

Each year around 150 children come to St Thomas for our Easter Holiday Club! We have loads of fun relating to our week's theme - Secret Agents, The King's Quest, Superheroes and so on - and the chance to hear about the greatest man who ever lived, Jesus, and what he came to achieve. All brought to life with fun, games, drama, videos, art, interactive Bible talks, songs, competitions, refreshments, and crafts to take home each day!

When is it?

The Holiday Club runs Monday-Thursday from 10am-12.30pm and ends with our Easter Sunday service from 10.30. Please do arrive promptly as entertainment starts straight away.

How do the mornings run?

The Holiday Club is run as a combination of small groups based on school year group where the children will play games, do craft, hear Bible stories explained and more, and all together time where there will be pirate related entertainment, drama, games, challenges, songs and Bible talks.

What is the cost of Holiday Club?

Nothing! It is a free event put on by volunteers from St Thomas Church Oakwood.

Who willl be looking after my child?

The Holiday Club is run by volunteers from St Thomas Church who are giving up holiday to give your child a great time. All volunteer leaders are DBS checked and given specific safeguarding training. Children are allocated to small groups led by at least two adults to ensure high adult:child ratios. 

How do I sign up?

Click here to register for Holiday Club. We would be very grateful if you could let us know that your child will not be attending. We carefully plan activities and craft for the week based on known numbers so it is very helpful to have an accurate picture to avoid wastage.
